Michael J. Adee, Ph.D. is an educator and human rights activist working in the LGBTQ+ and HIV-AIDS communities since 1988.
Michael served as Executive Director and Field Organizer of More Light Presbyterians from 1999 to 2012 – leading the successful campaign to end the barriers to LGBTQ+ ministers in the Presbyterian Church (USA). He then founded the Global Faith and Justice Project, advocating to end anti-homosexuality laws worldwide.
After Hurricane Katrina, Michael created RainbowCorps to rebuild houses in New Orleans. As an athlete, he has competed in tennis in 10 Gay Games and World Outgames.
