About the Film. Coral reefs around the world are vanishing at an unprecedented rate. A team of divers, photographers and scientists set out on a thrilling ocean adventure to discover why and to reveal the underwater mystery to the world. "Chasing Coral" took over three years to shoot. It is the result of 500+ hours of underwater footage and the support from more than 500 people in various locations around the world. What emerges is the hope of a new sense of involvement that can emerge from experiencing a film like this one.
