And Join Us after Worship as we celebrate our newest members + meet in the Fellowship Hall to discuss our church's Social Action Ministry. Social Action convener Rob Rivers writes: "Come out and help decide where the church should support in our outreach funds in 2018. Our Goal: ensure that the support is relational and works together for the good of the community and church. We have received proposals for support for Bethesda Cares, Umbrella Initiatives and BorderLinks." 

Sunday during Worship, we welcome our fourth new member in two weeks, Elle Flood! Born in Loma Linda, CA, Elle completed a Ph.D. in Physiology, Biology, and Biophysics at Weill Medical College of Cornell University. She then found herself in Bethesda for medical school through Uniformed Services University and the U.S. Public Health Service in 2016. Elle discovered Bethesda Presbyterian soon after. When she's not working or studying, Elle enjoys triathlons, NPR, and snuggling with her cats.
