SUNDAY AT BPC (2/10): TWO BLACK HISTORY MONTH SPEAKERS!

Here's Sunday's Bulletin  As part of our celebration of our colorful God’s diversity during Black History Month, this Sunday the Rev. Jimmie Ray Hawkins will preach at our 11 am Worship and Dr. Susan Strasser will teach at 12:15 pm in our Fellowship Hall!

Rev. Hawkins serves as Director of the Presbyterian Church (USA) Office of Public Witness in DC. His Sermon this Sunday: "Jesus Calls for Love In Action" (Exodus 2:1-10, 1 John 4:7-20). Accompanying Rev. Hawkins will be Deb Rookey, a Young Adult Volunteer (YAV) from the Presbyterian Mission Agency stationed at the Office of Public Witness. She will share briefly in Worship on her YAV ministry.

Dr. Strasser's multimedia presentation in our Fellowship Hall: "A White Historian Confronts Residential Segregation". This will be her fourth presentation to us from her White Historian Reads Black History series.
