Welcome to Bethesda Presbyterian Church!

We are glad you have connected to us through our website. Our Mission: Love In Action! It’s that simple. At Bethesda Presbyterian Church, we believe prayerful action – as a church and in our daily lives - is the way of the gospel. Join us in our beautiful Sanctuary or on Zoom for our uniquely "big small church" experience!

Sunday July 13, 10 AM Sanctuary & Zoom: What's a Plumb Line? And Why Does it Matter?

We receive a timely word from the prophet Amos. How "upright" are we in our living - and in our society? It's a challenging word for us that can bear fruit. Join us!

Jesus' Declaration of Interdependence (Fourth of July)

In our land declaring its independence loudly: what a deep richness, this extra syllable - embedded in our peaceable discipleship. What do Jesus' teachings and examples of interdependence mean for our lives?

Directions & Parking for Bethesda Presbyterian Church

GPS ADDRESS. Put in 5080 Wilson Lane to arrive at our Sanctuary bell tower door! We are located near Bethesda’s heart, one block from Old Georgetown Road.

IMPORTANT PARKING NOTES. Here are two good options: (1) spaces marked for the church at 7611 Clarendon Road, & (2) freebie parking at the Cordell-St. Elmo public garage two blocks away. There is limited street parking space Sunday mornings - due to the fabulous Bethesda Central Farmers Market next door and an AA meeting at The Del Ray Club on our church’s site.

WE ARE CONVENIENT TO THE BETHESDA METRO STATION (Red Line) - a 1/3 mile stroll! Zoom in on the map to the left. The Metro station is found in the middle of the word “Bethesda”. Saunter up Hwy 187/Old Georgetown Rd to Hwy 188/Wilson Lane - and take a left . We are then one block on the left, just past the Farmers Market.
