This Sunday (10/9): Musical Celebration!
"Song is a response which engages the whole self in prayer." This constitutional affirmation of our Presbyterian Church (USA) bespeaks the wisdom of the scriptural ages. We celebrate the Passionate of our church identity Sunday with six spiritual songs, a choir anthem, and a beautiful solo to boot! Come, take a break from the Metro DC mania this Sunday and celebrate the God of grace with us at 11:00a with music galore. And feel free to join us for a new adult Christian ed series: "Our Christian Theology Through Twelve Step Eyes" at 9:45a in Room 102 -- as well as education for youth and children of all ages.

"Jesus on Tap" 5/23!
Join us Wednesday, 6:30-8:30p, at Pizzeria da Marco, 8008 Woodmont near downtown Bethesda for great food & food-for-thought! At 7:30p, we will be discussing Franz Kafka's classic "A Hunger Artist"-- short story text here -- takes 10-15 minutes to read beforehand. We have our own open room & quiet table toward the back; ask for Bethesda Presbyterian when you enter. Great Neapolitan-style pizza, salads, & really fine ale on-hand -- all at a church discount price! We hope you will join us. Metered parking available on street & in lot across the street ... & free at the church, 1/2 mile away.
